Diane H. (Gosser) Canter

After a long battle with chronic illnesses, Diane H. (Gosser) Canter, 73, of Cuyahoga Falls went to Heaven to be with her loved ones on May 5, 2022.

Diane was born June 30, 1948, at St. Thomas Hospital. She went to Immaculate Heart of Mary School and graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1966. She became an LPN and worked at St. Thomas Hospital where she met the love of her life of 52 years.

Diane was a devoted Catholic who volunteered at IHM Parish. She was a dedicated, loving, and caring daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Diane will be deeply missed by her husband, Gary Canter; daughters, Tera and Amy Canter; brother, Jeff (Ann) Gosser; grandchildren, Noah and Isabelle Oyler, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Special thanks to Delores and John Bloom for their constant moral support.

Diane is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas (Red) and Helen Gosser; her friend, Sandy Vanderbush; cousin, Gloria Sines, and her dachshund dog, Trinka Bell.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, May 11th from 3 pm to 7 pm at Ciriello & Carr Funeral Home in Cuyahoga Falls. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at IHM Parish on Thursday, May 12th at 10 am and burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
