Daniel J. Joseph

Danny left behind the pain of this earth and reunited with his departed loved ones on January 4, 2021.

He was born in Youngstown, OH on July 3,1936 to Joe and Lily Joseph. He faced many physical and developmental challenges from birth throughout his 84 years of life, yet persevered with dignity, grace and his mother’s love and devotion.

Danny attended workshops at United Disability Services for many years, retiring in 2003. He was a resident of Seasons Nursing and Rehab Center for the past 17 years where he received dedicated care and attention. He enjoyed music, watching TV, playing bingo, other activities at the Center and visits from family and friends.

Danny was kind-hearted, loving and sensitive. He smiled often but teared up when thinking of deceased family members. He is now free to join his parents; sister, Diane; maternal and paternal grandparents, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends in eternal repose.

He will live on in the memory of uncles, Louie and Donald Jaber; cousins, Joanne Barksdale, Eddie Joseph, Richard Joseph, Eddie Nime and Mikey Staitz; special friends, Tad and Maria Fryberger; many other relatives and friends.

Rest in sweet peace Danny. You will be in our hearts always.

The family thanks the staff of Seasons Nursing Center for the care and love shown to Danny over these many years.

There will be no calling hours. Graveside services will be held Friday, January 8 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery.
