Dane Randall Griffith

Dane Griffith passed away peacefully on December 8, 2021 in Akron, Ohio.

Dane was born on September 18, 1951 in Omaha, Nebraska, and was baptized at the Omaha Cathedral.

He attended St. Aloysius Military Academy in New Lexington, Ohio. He subsequently graduated from St. Vincent's High School, where he played four years of varsity football and wrestling.

Dane enjoyed hunting, fishing, cheering on his Cleveland Browns, and walking the links at Portage Country Club.

Dane is survived by his mother, Jacqueline Griffith; his brother, Robert (Margaret), and many loving nephews and nieces.

Dane was preceded in death by his father, Robert, Sr.; brother, Gary (Margaret); and his aunts, Marie Hollendorfer (John) and Sister Raphael Griffith.

There will be a sponsored Mass at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Akron, at 11a.m. on January 16, 2022.

Dane will be interred at Northlawn Cemetery.
