Cheryl Ann Rueschman

Cheryl Ann Rueschman (nee Banyar), 78, passed away on Nov. 23, 2023.

Cheryl was born Feb. 16, 1945 in Akron, raised in Firestone Park, and graduated from St. Mary's Highschool in 1963.

She was a volunteer at Summa Akron City Hospital for many years and served on the Summa Health System Women’s Board.

Cheryl, along with her husband Skip, a well known square dance caller in the area, were avid square dancers, and members of the Gnat Boxers Square Dance Club out of Wooster.

Preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Sue Banyar; as well as her husband, Loren Jr. (Skip); she leaves behind her twin sister, Carol Sample; brother-in-law, Robert Sample; and nephew, Erik.

A Memorial service will be held Thursday, December 14 at 11 a.m. At Ciriello and Carr Funeral Home, 39 S. Miller Rd. in Fairlawn.
