Cheryl Fenwick Obituary

Cheryl Mary Fenwick, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on December 13th, 2021 at the age of 77.  She was born on April 18th, 1944 in Columbus, Ohio. After high school, Cheryl pursued her education at Kent State University, in the hopes of becoming a teacher. She spent many years working for CYO and Community Services and Breathe NH, both non-profit organizations, specializing in finance and human resources.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and Joseph Fenwick, her husband and friend for many years, William N. Wojtkowski and her beloved sisters, Pat, Donna and Sandy.

Cheri, as she was known to everyone, always celebrated the simplest pleasures in life. It brought her great joy to spend time with her family and precious grandchildren, whom were her pride and joy. She loved to sew and quilt and created many family heirlooms for her loved ones. Cheri has always had a flair for decorating and loved sharing her talents with everyone she had the pleasure of meeting. You could find Grammy at all her grandchildren’s sporting events. She was there rain or shine, cheering them on and supporting them in their endeavors. Her positive attitude and love of life was contagious and inspiring. She touched so many with her selfless ways and beautiful smile.

She is survived by her children Amy (Denis) Barbeau, Nick (Julie) Wojtkowski, Aaron (Tish) Wojtkowski and Wendy (Eugene) Welch, her siblings Mary (Chuck) Watt, Lynne Fenwick, Bill Fenwick and Dick (Judy) Fenwick, her cherished grandchildren Nicholas (Diane), Jake, Leila (Aaron), Noah, Ethan,  Abby, Eugene Henry and Owen, her great grandchildren, Colby, Carly and Riley, her former spouse Carter Meyers, many nieces, nephews and treasured friends. Cheri also had an amazing relationship with her niece Kim Rado, who she loved and admired.

A Mass is being held in her honor, to celebrate her light, her love and her remarkable life on Wednesday, December 15th, 2021 at 11:00am at Saint Joseph Parish, 1761 Second StreetCuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.
