He met the love of his life, Dotty in 1966 at the FLAME Drive-in and Married in 1967. Charlie donated blood to Red Cross and Farisceas, was President of the Greensburg Township Fair, enjoyed target shooting, playing cards, tinkering on anything that needed fixed or improved, loved attending his Naval reunions since 2001 and the adventures along the way, traveling to every state except Hawaii. He loved his dogs, German Shepherds.
He loved woodworking and making chimes. He remodeled Dotty's kitchen, amazing her that he could do it to just her ideas of what she wanted. He gave most of his projects as gifts to family, friends and donating to his Navy reunion auctions to raise money for future reunions.
