CAROL J. CLEMENS

Carol J. Clemens, 87, of Hudson (formerly of Fairlawn), passed away September 11, 2023.

Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles (Chuck) in 2016 and is survived by children, Chris (Dan) Krinsky, Bob (Donna) Clemens, and Cheryl (Tim) Goergen.  Carol is also survived by her cherished grandchildren Brian (Bethany) Krinsky, Scott (Claire) Krinsky, Robyn (Nikki) Clemens and Hannah Clemens, Matthew, Christopher and Caroline Goergen, and great-grandchildren Reid and Madeline Krinsky and Cooper Krinsky, sister Kathleen (Rich) Zarybnicky and sister-in-law Judy Clemens.  Carol also leaves several nieces and nephews and many lifelong friends.  Also preceding her in death are her parents, William & Jean Margo.

Carol was born in Cleveland, Ohio on February 25, 1936.  She graduated from Cleveland’s East High School in 1954 and married Chuck in 1957.  She worked for Standard Oil as a young woman, then Michael Day Enterprises when her children were older.  

Carol was a grace-filled wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.  She was quick to laugh, loved making meals for her family and sending greeting cards for every occasion imaginable.  We will miss her beautiful smile, her patience and unending grace.  We are at peace because she is at peace. Our heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers at Heritage of Hudson for the many years of loving care and to Bella Hospice for supporting us the last six months. You are truly amazing.

Calling hours will be 10:30-11:30a.m. Monday at St. Hilary Catholic Church in Fairlawn. Mass will immediately follow calling hours.  Burial at Northlawn Memorial Gardens in Peninsula.

In lieu of flowers, donations of remembrance can be made to Catholic Relief Services (info@crs.org) or St. Hilary Parish Foundation.  Services entrusted to Ciriello & Carr Funeral Home, Fairlawn.
