Bobbie Doria Obituary

Bobbie Doria, 79, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2021 with her family by her side.

Bobbie was a life long resident of Akron and graduated from St. Vincent High School. She was self-employed as an Independent Sales Rep in the Plastics Industry only retiring as of last year. She continued to enjoy the chase of new business and the relationships she had built with clients over the years.

Bobbie had a special place in her heart for those less fortunate. She served on the Homeless committee at church and brought items every Sunday to help the poor as well as donated to several charities. She went on several missions to El Salvador where the people there stole her heart. Traveling to Mizata just last year with her family, so that they could meet the families that she so loved.

Bobbie is preceded in death by her husband, Sam; parents, Mary and Tom; and siblings, Pat, Nancy and Jim. She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Dawn; and grandchildren, Sam and Olivia (Jordan); her four-legged (son), Beckham; sister, Sandi (Ron) Culbertson; brothers-in-law, Dick Doria, Cliff Meredith and a host of other family and friends.

Calling hours 3-7pm Sunday at Ciriello and Carr Funeral Home, 39 S. Miller Rd in Fairlawn.

Mass of Christian Burial 11am Monday at St. Hilary Catholic Church. Private interment at Oakwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Peter Maurin Center.
