Barbara A. Zembar

 

Barbara A. Zembar of Cuyahoga Falls, OH passed away on November 18, 2021. She was 85. She was born in McClellandtown, PA and graduated from German Township High School in 1954. She married her high school sweetheart, Thomas Zembar, on August 4, 1956. They were married for 60 wonderful years.

Barbara was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her family and will be missed by her daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Chris Kuhns, of Quaker City, OH; her daughter Mary Jo Zembar of Springfield, OH; her son and daughter-in-law, Tom (Jr.) and Lori Zembar, of Potomac Falls, VA; and son-in-law, Bruce Gallo, of Brentwood, TN. Barbara also is survived by 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Stephanie Simon; husband, Thomas; brothers, Paul and Thomas Simon; daughter, Stephanie Zembar; and granddaughters, Michelle and Melissa Kuhns.

Barbara was a strong, courageous, and deeply religious person who gave selflessly of her time and energy to those around her. She was kind and generous to her family and friends and we will all miss her dearly. Rest peacefully mom…

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church on Second Street in Cuyahoga Falls, on Friday, November 26, 2021 at 11:00 am. Interment at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.

Flowers and/or memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org) are equally welcome.
