Angela Marie Cea

Angela Marie Cea (nee Louis) passed away on March 20, 2022.

“Angie,” “Mom,” Sitti,” “Aunt,” and “God Mother”

She was born on March 3, 1938, in Akron to the late George and Mary Louis and was a graduate of South High School. Angie worked at B.F.Goodrich Company and later Ameripol Synpol Corporation, starting her career as an administrative assistant and working her way up to management.

Angie dedicated her life to her family and to serving the Lord. She was a devoted and extremely active member of St. Joseph Melkite Catholic Church, working and praying countless hours.

Angie is now celebrating eternal life with Jesus Christ, her Savior, and was welcomed into Heaven by her parents, along with her husband, Vito; her son, Mark; her brothers, Ernie and Ted; and her sister, Laurice (Kenny) Kelly.

Angie is survived by her sons, Tony and Patrick (Jennifer); granddaughters, Emily, Grace and Sydney, who she referred to as her precious gifts from God; sister, Loretta “Sam” (Andy) Carden; sisters-in-law, Helen Louis and Mary Lofreso, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family was very important to Angie, and she loved them all dearly. She also cherished her Church family and her dear friends.

Per her request, cremation has taken place and funeral services will be held at 11a.m. Monday, March 28, 2022 at St. Joseph Melkite Catholic Church, 927 N. Portage Path in Akron, Ohio 44303, where friends may call 10-11a.m., Rev. Eugene Mitchell and Rev. Deacon Dennis Jebber officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Joseph Melkite Church.
