Marianne Engler

Marianne Engler, 75, passed away December 13, 2018 after a short illness.  Marianne was born in Akron, Ohio and she graduated from St. Vincent High School in 1961 and Michigan State University in 1965.  

Her professional career was spent in the retail/ finance industry in Michigan, California and Ohio.  She retired from Sterling Jewelers in 2004.

She will be remembered for her love of books and her devotion to her many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerome and Betty Engler; and her brother, Mike.

She is survived by her brothers, Steve (Vivian), Jerry (Linda), Max (Cheryl); and sisters, Ellen (Doug), Nancy (Jim); sister-in-law, Mary Jane; and many dear friends.

Calling hours will be at Ciriello & Carr Funeral Home, 39 S. Miller Rd, Fairlawn, 44333 Thursday,  December 20,  from 5-8 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, December 21st at 10 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church.  Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society.

I worked with Marianne for years at Sterling - I'm so sorry to see she has passed. Peace and prayers to all of her family.
