Mary Diller (nee Lam)

Mary Diller (nee Lam) passed away on April 12, 2018. Mary was born in Akron, Ohio on January 13, 1927 to John and Nellie Lam. She was a life resident of the area.

Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was dedicated to her family.

Preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Edward, she is survived by daughters, Marsha (Jim) Myers of Stow, Marlene (Larry) Gorick of Raleigh, N.C., and Nancy ((Kirk) Shively of Bath; brother, Henry Lam; grandchildren, Kristin (Michael) Valente, Lisa (Bryan) Dile, Steve (Moriah) Gorick, Mary Lynn (Martin) Evans, Angela (Dean) Szabo, John (Brittany) Zaharopoulos, and eight great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff at Sunrise of Cuyahoga Falls and Kindred Hospice for their loving care of Mary.

Funeral Services will be held at Cirello and Carr Funeral Home, 39 S Miller Rd, Fairlawn. Visitation Saturday, April 14 from 10:00 to 12:00. The service will be at 12:00. 
Interment at Rose Hill Cemetery. 

Family suggests memorials to the Heart or Lung Association.

Marsha, Marlene, and Nancy,
Our deepest sympathy on the loss of your mom. Glenn and I are very sorry
we are'nt there, as we are in Pa. My heart aches for you, I know how much it
hurts to lose your mom.She is in the arms of God and with uncle Eddie, our love to you all.

Dear old neighbors..marsha, marlene, and sorry to hear of your mom passing. Polly Stump told Karen and Karen messaged me. I would have come if I had seen it. I live in N. Canton and dont get the Beacon. She is with Eddie now. I remember fondly all the lunches she made me growing up with mrs. grasses noodle soup and I still used her holiday nougat recipe at Christmas. Happy Childhood with all of you. RIP Mary
