Patricia A. Bell (Botzum)
Patricia A. Bell, 79, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Jan 1, 2019.
Pat was born in Akron on February 27, 1939 to Albert Botzum and Hazel Crummel and grew up in Cuyahoga Falls. She graduated from St. Vincent High School in 1957 and St. Alexis School of Nursing in 1960.
She worked as a surgical nurse for over thirty years at Akron City and St. Thomas hospitals until she was injured on the job. After retiring from nursing, she took up chair caning and traveled extensively around the U.S. Her favorite trips were to New Orleans and a cross-county drive to Seattle.
She was looking forward to traveling to Dallas and Seattle this summer.
In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her children, Mary and Joseph.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert; daughters, Katy Coombs and Carolyn Hotes; son, Robert (Sue); three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.
She will always be remembered for the kindness and love she had bestowed for others.
Friends may call 2-6pm Sunday at Ciriello & Carr Funeral Home, 39 S. Miller Rd, Fairlawn.
Mass of Christian Burial 10am Monday, January 7th at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
