Paul A. Hayden

Paul A. Hayden, 81 of Cuyahoga Falls, died February 6, 2018. He was born on April 26, 1936 in Akron to Paul & Clare Hayden and was a longtime Cuyahoga Falls resident.

He was a 1954 graduate of St. Vincent High School, and attended John Carroll University.  

He retired in 2004 after 40 years as a stockbroker.  Paul was active at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, where he belonged to the Knights of Columbus and Parish Council. He had a long history of parish service and stewardship. Paul also participated in Kiwanis, Junior Achievement Leadership,  and Boys Scouts of America Troop 152 as a Scoutmaster. He was a founding member of the Summit Sportsmans Association and active in the Corsair Model Aircraft Club.  

Paul will be remembered for his love of family and strong Catholic faith.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Cathy; children, Julie Hayden of Cuyahoga Falls, Barb (John) Gallina of Carmel IN,  Steve (Londa) of Somerville AL, Fran (Tom) Wilson of Mansfield, Pat (Mary Ann) of Brimfield, and Andy (Lori) of North Canton; 16 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, Michael (Del), Dick (Irene), Anne (Joe) Funai and Margie (Lee) Fay, many nieces, nephews and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial 11 am Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, where friends may call 1 hour prior to Mass  time.  Inurnment at Holy Cross Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Father McIntyre Fund at IHM 1905 Portage Tr. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223
